AIFA receives a concession title to manage and operate the airport
MEXICO – The Ministry of Communications and Transportation granted the concession title to the majority state-owned company "Aeropuerto Internacional Felipe Ángeles, S.A. de C.V." to manage and operate the airport.
AIFA will operate as a variable capital corporation, in terms of the General Law of Mercantile Corporations and the Federal Law of Parastatal Entities. For the creation of this parastatal company, the Sedena participated with an initial amount of US$49,159, while the Banco Nacional del Ejército, Fuerza Aérea y Armada, contributed US$496 as a minority shareholder.
The company will carry out all the necessary actions to manage, operate, exploit and build the Felipe Ángeles International Airport, providing airport, complementary and commercial services.
