Delta and Aeromexico name VP for their joint venture
A Delta spokesperson pointed out that Nicolas Ferri, ex VP of Delta Latin America and the Caribbean, will be relocated in Mexico City, with the commission to report the operations of the airline in Mexico, as well as the Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA) with Aeromexico to the International President of the U.S.-based firm, Steve Sear.
Nicolas is to oversee Delta´s commercial activity in Mexico and the execution of the joint commercial agreement based on the “best on each of us principle, driving innovation and speed in every new business of each of the companies”.
This agreement is the largest so far between a U.S. and a Mexican airline. Mike Medeiros, on the other hand, will become Aeromexico´s Operations Director, reporting to Andres Conesa, Aeromexico´s General Director.
