Energy and competitiveness in Nuevo Leon

At the most recent board meeting of the Nuevo Leon Home Appliance Cluster, the organization brought together industry stakeholders to analyze Mexico’s energy landscape and identify concrete actions that will enable companies to anticipate changes and strengthen their operations.
Jorge Arrambide, from Santos-Elizondo S.C., presented the talk “Energy, Reforms, and Infrastructure: The New Map of Competitiveness in Mexico,” in which he provided an analysis of the country’s current energy landscape and the challenges facing companies.
Subsequently, the Nuevo Leon Renewable Energy Agency shared updates on the Energy Roadmap developed in collaboration with the Danish Energy Agency, highlighting opportunities in energy efficiency, self-consumption, and distributed generation.
During the session, cluster members reached agreements to promote the implementation of these strategies within their member companies, as well as to strengthen participation in energy innovation projects.
With these developments, the Nuevo Leon Home Appliances Cluster aims to make energy management a key factor in industrial operations, with efficiency and adaptation as central pillars.
