Growing demand for industrial spaces in Mexico
The industrial realty sector in Mexico recorded an increased demand for spaces last year. The sectors with the highest demand are: the automotive sector with 39%, the manufacturing logistics sector with 17% and the consumption goods sector with 13%, according to data shared by real estate consultants CBRE Mexico. Over the last two years, the cities of Mexico, Monterrey and Queretaro have represented 60% of the demand. If it weren’t for the “Trump effect”, Guanajuato would be the main player of the sector this year.
