Heineken: Water balance target achieved at 86%

Heineken stated that it is 86% of the way toward achieving its 2030 water balance goal, which equates to more than 4.5 million cubic meters of water replenished in watersheds located in water-stressed areas, according to the company’s 2025 Sustainability Report.
The goal is to replenish the equivalent of the water contained in every liter of beer produced in the regions where it operates.
The distribution of the replenished volume includes watersheds in Colorado, in Tecate, and in Rio de San Juan, in Monterrey, which exceeded their individual targets with 106% and 107% compliance, respectively, while the Lerma-Chapala watershed, which covers Toluca and Guadalajara, recorded 87%, and the Rio de Conchos watershed in Meoqui, Chihuahua, reached just 9%.
