Index Matamoros promotes industrial talent

Index Matamoros hosted the First 2026 Training and Organizational Development Forum, an event focused on strengthening human resources and training within the maquiladora industry. The event brought together specialists, suppliers, and industry leaders, creating a platform for the exchange of knowledge, trends, and best practices in talent development.

Alejandra Solana Zarate, coordinator of the Index Matamoros Training and Organizational Development Committee, emphasized that the central objective is to strengthen continuous training, foster networking, and keep organizations at the forefront in the face of the industry’s current challenges.

The agenda included presentations on priority topics such as the evolution of the human resources function toward a more strategic role, leadership development for middle management, the use of technological tools for data-driven decision-making, as well as trends in learning, leadership, and talent retention.

Additionally, topics such as “Growth Mindset” for adapting to change and risk-free training in regulatory compliance were addressed, along with sessions dedicated to networking and team building.

The high turnout from companies affiliated with Index Matamoros’ First 2026 Organizational Training and Development Forum paves the way for a second edition with an even broader scope.
