New firms to generate 9,000 jobs in Tamaulipas

The 19 companies that are soon to be established in Tamaulipas, will generate 9,000 new jobs in the State with a US$1.34 billion investment, commented Carlos Talancon Ostos, Minister of Economic Development. He explained that the promotion portfolio has currently 33 entrepreneurial projects, which shall bring about financial out pour surpassing US$2.6 billion and the creation of over 20,000 new jobs.  19,238 formal jobs have been created in Tamaulipas during the first five months of 2017, that is a 3.1% growth rate compared to 2016.
