Tamaulipas receives foreign investment worth US$363 million

The State of Tamaulipas received FDI valued at US$363.4 million during the first trimester of this year, escalating to the seventh spot among states in Mexico with the largest FDI received, by capturing 4.6% of the total in Mexico. The State, occupied the eighth place in 2016, according to the Ministry of Economy. 66% out of the captured amount comes from U.S. investment, 10% is from Spain and 6% from the Netherlands.
