Textron International Mexico plans to invest more than US $85 million of equipment to manufacture the cabin, nose and tail sections of the Bell 429 helicopter.
Cessna Aircraft recently celebrated the opening of its fourth facility in Chihuahua. The 83,000 square-foot Intermex Building is located in the Chihuahua Industrial Complex. Mr. Jaime Creel Sisniega, President of Intermex Board of Administration said that Cessna’s new project is very important as it strengthens the City of Chihuahua as a recognized aerospace cluster. The Cessna facility is already under a significant expansion, the facility will reach 480,000 ft2 in size by mid-2011.
