Drawing comparisons between the aerospace and the automotive industries is very frequent in Mexico and moreover, there is a proposal to have automotive engineers and technicians to easily crossover to cover staffing needs. It is frequent to hire automotive workers for the aerospace industry, but there is admitted difficulty, which increases as the requested profile becomes more specialized. It is reasonable to cover vacant positions when they do not require certified staff. However, the greatest challenge is to cover highly specialized positions, mainly in the areas of engineering and manufacturing, where availability is limited.
