Turkish Cargo announced that the Mexico City International Airport has joined its cargo flight network, which means Mexico became its 8th Latin American destination. In this sense, Turkish Cargo will be operating flights through Boeing 777F aircrafts twice a week.
"Mexico City will be connected to the world through an extensive flight network that covers more than 300 destinations on five different continents," the airline reported.
The first flight connects Istanbul with Mexico City via Madrid, and returns to Istanbul. Likewise, the second flight will arrive in Mexico City through a flight connection from Madrid, and will return to Istanbul via Houston.
The arrival of Turkish Cargo to Mexico City is a response to demands for imports of petrochemical, textile, pharmaceutical and chemical products. It also expects to export agricultural, electronic and automotive products.
