Coahuila holds tour in Washington, D.C.

Coahuila participated in the North Capital Forum during its visit to Washington, D.C., where it made progress on its strategy to attract high-tech investment, finalizing agreements on electromobility and cross-border collaboration with key players in the US business and political sectors.

During the forum, meetings were held with Canadian and US companies, with the aim of strengthening the arrival of new productive projects in the state; this allowed Coahuila to position itself as a competitive destination for industrial and technological investment under the USMCA.

The delegation held discussions with representatives from global companies such as Magna International, General Motors, and Constellation Brands. In these discussions, factors such as security, infrastructure, and the legal certainty offered by the state for the development of long-term investments were highlighted.

The meeting also allowed for the alignment of strategies to increase Coahuila’s presence in the US market, as well as to position itself internationally as a strategic hub for advanced manufacturing and electromobility, within the context of the relocation of production chains.
