Ecomondo & RE+ at Expo Guadalajara 2026

With the launch of the 2026 edition of Ecomondo and RE+ Mexico at Expo Guadalajara, the event established itself as a key meeting point for environmental innovation, the circular economy, and the energy transition in Mexico and Latin America.

During the opening ceremony, the strategic role of sustainability as a driver of economic competitiveness was highlighted, as well as the growing importance of clean energy in global investment decisions.

Bernd Rohde, CEO and member of the Board of Directors of the Italian German Exhibition Company for Canada, the US, and Mexico, emphasized that the energy transition is no longer an aspiration but an economic reality backed by global figures; according to data shared during the event, investment in clean energy exceeded US$2 trillion in 2024, demonstrating a structural shift in the markets.

The event also highlighted the importance of international collaboration in developing sustainable solutions. Representatives from Canada and Italy emphasized the strengthening of bilateral relations with Mexico in sectors such as clean technologies, the circular economy, and the energy transition.

Expo Guadalajara will host an ecosystem where companies, governments, and international organizations converge, with the aim of forging partnerships, promoting projects, and accelerating the adoption of sustainable technologies in the region.
