Leadership, talent & inclusion: Women at FABTECH 2026

During the sessions “Women Transforming Industry: Strategies for Driving Change from Within” and “New Masculinities and Inclusive Collaboration: Toward Balanced Industrial Teams,” leaders from manufacturing, automotive, and technology companies analyzed how the growth in female participation, the evolution of work models, and the strengthening of human skills are beginning to change the operational dynamics of the national manufacturing sector.

The panel focused on women’s leadership was moderated by Monica Doger, CEO of the Central Zone Automotive Cluster (CLAUZ), who noted that the presence of women within manufacturing plants and operational areas has evolved significantly over the past decades, although challenges remain regarding participation on boards of directors and in senior management positions.

Industrial transformation requires profound changes within organizational cultures and not merely rhetoric about inclusion; the visibility of women within companies is essential to generating new opportunities for professional growth and building development plans based on skills and results.

The presence of women in decision-making roles reflects a generational shift that is beginning to become the norm in both the public sector and within industry.
