Meximold 2026 will host the “Women in Manufacturing” reunion
Gardner Business Media Mexico will organize a gathering for women professionals in the manufacturing industry this coming October through its “Women in Manufacturing” initiative, as part of the activities for Meximold 2026, the mold manufacturing exhibition.
The event’s agenda combines a networking session with a panel discussion on “AI and Technical Leadership in Manufacturing,” as well as a keynote address by Elizabeth Palacios, a journalist and strategic communications consultant who has held positions at media outlets such as BBC News, Grupo Expansión, and El Universal, and who currently heads the firm Voces de Impacto.
The panel brings together individuals with diverse and distinguished careers within the manufacturing value chain. According to the organizers, Palacios’s presentation is based on an operational assessment: the technical knowledge that underpins processes, equipment, and production lines rarely circulates outside the plant or company where it is generated, which tends to limit both the career paths of those who develop it and the visibility of the organizations where they work.
Based on this assessment, the session explores the use of artificial intelligence as a tool for transforming technical expertise into a documented professional presence, with workflows applicable to content creation based on real projects, the analysis of industry trends, and the preparation of public presentations.
The event is sponsored by Hasco, Fracttal, and NSK, and is aimed at women working in engineering, production, quality, technology, and other fields related to the manufacturing value chain.
