Napoleón Opens Plant in Ramos Arizpe

With an investment of over US$10.6 million, the Canadian company Napoleon, internationally renowned for manufacturing grills, fireplaces, and white goods, officially opened its first assembly plant in Mexico, located in the Partners Industrial Park in Ramos Arizpe.

The opening of this new facility marks a strategic step in the company's expansion into Latin America, adding to its established presence in the United States, Europe, and Asia. In this first stage, the plant will generate around 200 direct jobs, a figure that is expected to increase as production in the region expands.

The event was attended by the governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jiménez Salinas, the mayor of Ramos Arizpe, Tomás Gutiérrez Merino, and the state's secretary of economy, Luis E. Olivares, who highlighted both the importance of the investment and the confidence that the private sector has in Coahuila as a safe and competitive destination for new industrial projects.

Mayor Tomás Gutiérrez emphasized that the arrival of Napoleón diversifies the municipality's productive vocation, traditionally linked to the automotive industry.

“This investment represents decent employment and growth for families, in addition to strengthening the region's productive chain,” he said.

In his speech, Secretary of Economy Luis E. Olivares pointed out that the Canadian firm's installation confirms Coahuila's position as one of the main centers of attraction for capital in the country.

“Nothing happens here by chance; we have a defined plan, infrastructure, skilled labor, and a secure environment that set us apart,” he said, while reiterating the state government's commitment to turning every investment into social welfare.

For his part, Governor Jiménez Salinas highlighted that Coahuila remains among Mexico's top exporting states and that the arrival of companies such as Napoleón contributes to strengthening economic diversification.

“Napoleón is starting its first phase in Ramos Arizpe, and is already reporting positive results. These types of investments reflect confidence in our development model and in the security we have built in the state,” he said.

The Napoleon plant in Ramos Arizpe not only represents a new employment opportunity, but also a key link in the consolidation of Coahuila as a competitive territory in advanced manufacturing. With this move, the company seeks to expand its production capacity to supply growing markets and take advantage of the strategic location of northern Mexico for its exports to the Americas and other continents.

The Canadian company Napoleon is dedicated to the manufacture and distribution of home products, including heating systems and outdoor products such as grills and barbecues. Initially, they focused on wood heating, but later expanded into the creation of outdoor products, especially barbecues. Today, they offer a wide range of products, including fireplaces, stoves, and outdoor heating systems, in addition to their popular grills.

In addition to its product line, Napoleon stands out for its commitment to quality, innovation in design and technology, and customer satisfaction, according to the company itself.
