Puebla boosts its component production capacity

Yankuilotl, an electronics assembly company based in Puebla, seeks to strengthen the supply chain for strategic industries such as automotive, medical, textile, and agricultural; it also aims to foster partnerships between universities and companies to accelerate the development of specialized talent.
The company’s CEO, Langzut Lopez Miro, noted that the company has the capacity to assemble nearly 200,000 electrical components per hour, and emphasized that the new infrastructure will enable the development of high-precision industrial processes for sectors that demand increasingly sophisticated components.
Another key focus of Yankuilotl is the development of human capital: Currently, students from BUAP, UTP, UPAEP, and the Tecnologico de Monterrey are completing internships at the company, where they participate in the design, prototyping, and assembly of electronic components.
For its part, the state’s Secretariat of Science, Humanities, Technology, and Innovation (SECIHTI) noted that it maintains a strategy of collaboration among educational institutions, research centers, and the private sector to promote technological projects that generate innovation and strengthen Puebla’s competitiveness in high-value-added industries.
