Siemens to build a new plant in Querétaro

QUERETARO - With an investment of US$54.6 million, Siemens Energy announced the construction of its new plant in Querétaro, through a center specialized in the manufacture of products under the standards of the International Electrotechnical Commission.

The head of the Ministry of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), Marco Antonio Del Prete, acknowledged Siemens' commitment to decarbonizing its processes, since it has made a commitment to reduce its carbon footprint.

It is worth mentioning that Siemens is one of the world's leading energy technology companies in the manufacture of power and distribution transformers.

In his speech, the CEO of Siemens Manufacturing, Alejandro Preinfalk, indicated that the operations at Balvanera in Querétaro have evolved to become one of the company's most significant manufacturing sites.

"This project is a sign that by working as a team we have achieved a lot, today we mark a milestone in history, we officially announce the launch of the Kaizen project," said Preinfalk.
